“I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be unto all people”. That’s the presentation of the glorious birth of Jesus in Luke 2:10.
If you are a Christian, that signifies you’re a beneficiary of a gift of joy. Why then aren’t you joyful? Why gloomy? Why unthankful?
Yoruba people group in Nigeria have a saying translated to mean:
“anyone who cannot think, cannot give thanks”
You have to pause to think on the way you woke up beautifully. The way the birds chirp outside; providing orchestra without a fee. The way the wind slaps you in the face and then you recall scripture says he(God) sends the wind from his store room. Just how much force of wind lies in there?
I say constantly, it’s about perspective. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad.
Sing songs in the secrecy of your room. Lift your hands and lift your heart. Soar. Go into another realm, for a song says:
“I will enter his gates with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter his court with praise”.
Guys, the entry fee into new realms in the spirit is a thankful heart.
Even if you’re trusting God for a miracle as regards your health, why don’t you thank him for those whose health he has restored.
Anything you are expecting, if he has done it before, he can do it again.
Guys, there are a million woe stories on the earth, I know. As a law student, I’m privy to a few of the terrible atrocities man has committed. Regardless, no evil or injustice ever done on this earth is sufficient to make God unfaithful. He is faithful to his word.
“If we are not faithful, He remains faithful, because He cannot be false to himself” 2Timothy 2:13
God must have a thing he wants us to access through praise this month. I say this because the popular gospel artiste, Nathaniel Bassey, has began another dimension of the Halleluyah challenge*.
This month, praise him!
* Halleluyah challenge is an hour of midnight worship(12-1am) wherever you may be. Nathaniel Bassey’s personal worship session is streamed live on instagram and Facebook.
