Tid-bit advice from Amy Poehler’s book “yes please”. I might or might not review it when I’m through reading. You just learn the lesson I’m passing across here. Nobody is permitted to judge you while you’re having fun so goof away…

This is in UI

Great sky; great landscape. God feeds our eyes with beauty.

And sunset. Something melts in satisfaction inside of me when I see the perfect sunset.
This was three days ago, I saw the sunlight stream into my house from the window and I knew something magical must be going on. The front door was locked. I was unbound. I ran upstairs three times before I got the right key. The sunset was worth it. Contrary opinion? Anybody?

Elder sister and I made “buns”. Well… Elder sister made buns, I hopped around. We both ate it though. With all the love in our middle. (get it? Look at the picture again)

Someone is honing photography skills by all means.
You know you’re becoming a blogger when you want to eat an apple but you just must play with it a little. Food is meant to be snapped eaten.

Just to convince you there is an upcoming food photographer in the house, I present to you plain-looking-but-by-all-means-delicious-moinmoin.
By all means ignore what it looks like, I wasn’t being a foodie all this while. Many other things went down. I’ve been at home for a while now. University of Ibadan students chose a mini break for themselves☺ then the school expanded it:) the nation chose to compound it:mrgreen:. Now we don’t know when we would go back to school. Even Asuu is on strike. Everyone is on strike. #GodBlessNigeria

Best advice is up there🔝. Rev2:25 ” I will ask nothing further of you; only hold tightly to what you have until I come.” (TLB). This is rather important because the world passes away and the lust thereof. Even colour yellow!

The girl behind the lens

Go forth, frolic, take pictures, adore yellow and hold God fast.

Hello guys. Happy new month to you. April feels like flowers to me. What does it feel like to you?
I’ve been on and about an upcoming program in my fellowship, power crusade. It happens yearly, this one though, promises to be uniquely spectacular, God himself has declared. So if you’re in Ibadan, you should definitely be a part.

On to today’s business, I know, I know, my first and only phoygraphy project post so far was on Feb 14 . check it here if you haven’t already. So guys let’s scrap the weekly, yes? I have to be true to myself and to you, weekly won’t work. I do promise to provide good pictures without being bound by a time frame. I want to live out my photography. And enjoy it
So this is a  compilation of pictures I think will do good.

Learning to embrace the process. No one you see all flourishing now, started out like that. Embrace the in filling process.

Of knowing when to capture the commonest of things. But really, don’t you just love this picture? To think it’s the roof of a petrol station

I got another good shot

I’ll just write a legal maxim for this picture, ‘res Ipsa loquitur’ meaning the fact speaks for itself😁👌

Look ahead of you, people.

So on this day, I had returned to my room tired. It was really late and I just wanted to eat. For the first time in a long time I simply buttered both faces of the bread and toasted it. Surprisingly, I enjoyed it so much. Normally, I always put so much inside my toast. Sometimes the simplest of things is the sweetest of things.
On that note, which number describes your toast best? Let us know in the comment section

For finding time to have a still photo. Even the moving vehicle appears still on the road.
Guys, there is so much beauty in our everyday experience. Share yours.
Love, pictures and a flowery month of April,

WEEK1-PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT

Happy valentines day. Personally I feel if I go down the valentine line, I’ll be unoriginal to myself. I guess when it comes to tips, meaning, style and even how to spell valentine, you’re already swarmed from the left and right. However I can generously help with the spelling. V-A-L-E-N-T-I-N-E.
so moving on to the photographs of this past week.
On Sunday I went to my alma matter.  My younger sister resides in the boarding house.  My family went to greet her. I took this photo of one of the classrooms.

On Monday I went to my place of work for the last time.  This holiday I was attached to a law chamber for a month.  It was a rewarding period.  I learnt.  I learnt beyond law, I learnt a little of just what it might take to work in the corporate world. I learnt to assess people’s disposition to work and to justice.

The curtain in office. I love the turn-out

On Tuesday I took normal pictures at home.  I decided to play with one of them and turn it to something nice.  I love the cool aura the picture gives off

Beyond a watermelon

On Wednesday I was stepping out the front door at home and I thought to capture some of the flowerpot on the verandah. Hopefully when I’m at school I will be more outdoorsy.

Thursday was my parent’ wedding anniversary. We had dinner and I ordered poundo yam with Egusi and fish.  It’s my elder sister’s Chinese rice that’s caught at the edge of the picture.
image
Qon Friday I took a picture of one wall frame in my house. For the love of art.

Friday came and I was stranded so I did the lazy thing. I won’t feed you with  pictures of shower later on. 🙈. I pinky promise.

It won't happen again

I think it’s been a journey. I hope you enjoyed sharing some of what I fed my eyes on during the week.
Whatever suggestions and comments you might have kindly type it below. I will get better at this. Do you find yourself sweeping through each day of your life without saving memories? They don’t have to be flawless because even our memory isn’t flawless. I’d love to hear from you.  Do Comment.
